On Friday evening we went back into Devils Tower National Monument for one more look at the sunset. On the way in we saw about a dozen mule deer and got a few good photos of them. The sunset didn't look too promising when we arrived but after a short wait the sky took on a lot of color and I got a few more good shot of Devils Tower.
On Saturday morning we pointed the motorhome towards Cody, Wyoming. We saw a lot of Pronghorn along the way but didn't get a chance to photograph them. The climb out of Dayton was interesting as we went from 3800 ft to 9000 ft and then back down to 4000 ft again. The scenery was beautiful, especially at the top.
On Sunday we toured the Buffalo Bill Museum. It is a wonderful place to learn about the old west. The have a great natural history museum along with a lot of information about Buffalo Bill and the Native American tribes of the area.
In the afternoon we took a drive into the countryside. We drove around the Buffalo Bill Reservoir and got a good look at the area.
Tomorrow morning we leave for Yellowstone National Park.
